The recent adoption by the Verkhovna Rada of a law on the land market has forced most citizens to think about how to dispose of land in a way that generates income from it.
But in any case, no matter how you decide to dispose of your land, check whether you have registered the right of ownership (privatized?)
If not here’s a new product just for you!
What is a land allotment project?
This is a comprehensive package of documents that must be collected and agreed upon by interested parties with the relevant authorities in the event of a change in the purpose of land or the formation of new land.
What is the procedure for approving the project?
The procedure and conditions for approving such a project are provided by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of August 31, 2016 № 580, which states that the land surveyor must submit a land management project for approval to the State Geocadastre, and the body must provide an opinion within 5 days .
Everything seemed simple and did not require unnecessary hassles, but it is necessary to pay attention to the nuance that before 01.05.2020 the documentation had to be submitted in electronic and paper form to the territorial body of the State Geocadastre at the location of the land. Imagining a real life situation where the land inherited from grandparents is in another district or area, there are many questions and inconveniences. Thus, in particular, a person who has decided to privatize land should be given time to get to the relevant body, as well as funds to do so. Due to the conditions of quarantine, such a scheme of work is impossible at all.
But there have been changes.
Starting from May 2020, due to the changes provided by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of March 3, 2020 № 208, a person only needs to submit the original project in electronic form through the official website of the State Geocadastre (https://land.gov.ua/info/terytorialni-orhany-derzhheokadastru/).
Summarizing the above, it should be noted that the submission of the project to the State Geocadastre is only part of the work that must be done to obtain approval of documents. That is why we recommend that you turn to lawyers who will help you quickly and efficiently carry out all the necessary procedures and collect the relevant documents.
