Did you know that in certain cases you can be fined for picking mushrooms and berries?👮🏻♂️So Part 1 of Art. 70 ALCO provides for administrative liability in the form of a fine in the case of harvesting mushrooms and berries in the forest or in other areas of the forest fund🍄🍒🌲
But the same article contains additional conditions under which you can be prosecuted: picking mushrooms and berries in places where it is prohibited or where it is allowed with a forest ticket 🌳 But here’s the trouble, in the forest there is no one to ask if you can collect mushrooms here and berries and do you need a ticket here, and if so, from whom to buy it?☘️
Don’t be afraid! Everything is very simple:
- If there are no signs stating that it is forbidden to collect mushrooms and berries, then accordingly – you can!🔓
- If you collect mushrooms and berries for your own consumption, you do not need a ticket🔓
In such cases, go to the forest and enjoy the autumn landscape, pick mushrooms, berries and be careful – do not be poisoned🏷
But if you want to sell berries and mushrooms, you need to know that you may be required to have a forest ticket.📇🔏
So art. 66 of the Forest Code of Ukraine stipulates that free of charge without the issuance of a special permit, citizens have the right to collect for their own consumption wild herbaceous plants, flowers, berries, nuts, mushrooms, etc.⚖️
Harvesting berries and mushrooms for sale is impossible without obtaining a special permit – the so-called “forest ticket”, which is provided by Article 10 of the Law of Ukraine “On Flora”💡
But in any case, when going into the woods, follow the rules of fire safety in the woods, use the forest resources mentioned in part one of this article, methods and amounts that do not harm the reproduction of these resources, do not worsen the sanitary condition of forests 🧯🌲
