Hanna Kolesnyk has always stood up for human rights and is intolerant of law enforcement violations.
At a meeting of the Committee for the Protection of Human Rights held on May 27, 2020, the problem of exceeding their discretion by the law enforcement agencies of Ukraine, in particular, violence and torture, was discussed. Such violations have occurred on the territory of Ukraine many times, so there is a need to enshrine at the legislative level new tools to combat and prevent these crimes.
